URGENT HIRE!
Federal Contract Opportunity Siter-Neubauer & Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to support a federal healthcare facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment providing quality dental care to Native American communities, with the potential for a long-term contract extension. Job Summary The Certified Dental Assistant will provide chairside support to dentists while assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily dental clinic operations in a federal healthcare setting. Candidates may also rotate to satellite clinics in Española and Cochiti, NM, as needed. Responsibilities Assist dentists during general and specialty dental procedures. Prepare patients, operatories, and instruments for treatment. Take digital dental radiographs and document patient care in Dentrix. Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 1-year contract. Potential for up to a 4-year extension Minimum Qualifications /
Experience:
Candidates must meet all of the following: DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum 24 months of dental assisting experience Experience using Dentrix for charting and clinical documentation Experience assisting with restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, and periodontal procedures Experience taking digital intraoral and extraoral radiographs To be considered, send Resume, License, BLS Cert, and two professional references!
