We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who is confident chairside, clinically capable, organized, efficient, and ready to contribute at a high level with minimal training. About Our Practice Mitchell Dental Studio is a privately owned, comprehensive dental practice with an established patient base and a strong reputation in the community. We provide restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, implant, and digital dentistry in a recently renovated modern facility. Our practice combines strong systems with modern clinical workflows, including digital radiography, digital scanning, and efficient case planning. Dental assistants play a key role in clinical flow, patient experience, treatment execution, and overall team success. What We're Looking For We are looking for a strong team player. The right person is clinically skilled, dependable, communicative, and willing to jump in where needed to help the team succeed. This position is best suited for someone who: Has strong chairside assisting skills and clinical confidence Can support restorative, cosmetic, and comprehensive dental procedures Understands pace, preparation, organization, and efficient operatory flow Communicates professionally with patients and teammates Takes ownership of their role and follows through on responsibilities Works well in a collaborative team environment Values precision, cleanliness, systems, and high-quality patient care Responsibilities Chairside assisting for restorative, cosmetic, and comprehensive dental procedures Preparing operatories, instruments, materials, and equipment for daily procedures Maintaining efficient operatory flow and timely room turnover Taking digital radiographs and supporting digital scanning workflows Anticipating doctor and patient needs during procedures Supporting excellent patient communication and comfort Following strict infection control and sterilization protocols Maintaining organization of clinical supplies, instruments, and treatment rooms Helping the team stay on schedule while maintaining quality and professionalism Contributing to a positive, collaborative, team-first culture Qualifications 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Experience with restorative dentistry required; cosmetic, endodontic, implant experience preferred Dentrix experience preferred Digital scanning experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Reliable, accountable, professional, and growth-minded Ability to work efficiently in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment Must be willing to support the whole team What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience, chairside skill, reliability, communication, and ability to contribute independently in a busy private practice setting. Starting pay typically ranges from $23-$25/hour for this role.
