Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays, utilizing advanced 3D scanning technology as required. Manage patient records, including medical coding and documentation of treatments performed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain an organized and clean work environment within the dental clinic. Support in general dentistry tasks as well as specialized procedures such as endodontics when necessary. Skills Proficiency with 3D scanners and X-ray technology. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and terminology. Experience with medical coding for accurate record keeping. Ability to assist effectively in endodontic treatments. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy clinic environment. Experience required, additional training available. Pay dependent on applicant's knowledge base and skill set.

Pay:

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
