Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking vital signs, performing dental x-rays, maintaining infection control protocols, and providing excellent patient care. • Tuesdays 12-8, Wednesdays 12-5, Fridays 9-3, Saturday 8-2

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Perform dental x-rays and maintain accurate records
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program is a plus
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
