Job Description

Overview We are a friendly, family-based emergency dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a motivated and personable Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where patient comfort and service are our top priorities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, managing electronic health records, and supporting clinical procedures as needed. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Manage phone communications, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient flow Verify dental insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related inquiries Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently Assist with clinical tasks such as taking X-rays and 3D X-rays (training provided for qualified candidates) Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing patient records Ensure the practice remains organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations Experience Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific skills such as X-ray procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-oriented attitude This position is paid and offers an engaging work environment where you can grow your skills while contributing to compassionate patient care.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
