Job description

Duties:

• Assist the surgeon during dental procedures
• Prepare operatory rooms and instruments for dental procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Monitor the patient's well-being during the procedure
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with medical records and HIPAA regulations
• Attention to detail
• Experience working with patients (preferred)
• Well organized and reliable
