We are looking for an experienced, reliable, punctual, and outgoing Dental Assistant to join a friendly, family-oriented general dental practice in Rockland County . This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working chairside, connecting with patients, and being part of a supportive dental team.Schedule Monday:
9:00 AM-5:00PM Tuesday:
9:00 AM-5:00PM Thursday:
9:00 AM-5:00PM Friday:
9:00 AM-2:00 PM One Sunday per month: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Part-time position Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during procedures Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized Break down and reset operatories efficiently Review the daily schedule and anticipate the doctor's needs Prepare trays according to the day's procedures and charts Greet, seat, and screen patients while communicating their concerns to the doctor Take alginate impressions, pour and trim models, and/or scan with the iTero scanner Take diagnostic X-rays, including PA, bitewing, and panoramic images Keep operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked Participate in daily morning meetings and contribute to a positive team environment Requirements Previous Dental Assistant experience isREQUIRED
Strong chairside assisting skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, punctual, dependable, and responsible Friendly personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office Willingness to learn and grow Team player with a positive attitude What We Offer $32- 35 per hour, depending on experience Friendly and supportive work environment Opportunity to work with an experienced dental team A patient-focused, family-oriented practice Please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
