Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and maintain accurate medical imaging records. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record system. Manage dental equipment, including sterilization of instruments and maintenance of dental tools. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations and high-quality patient care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical documentation, and aseptic techniques is essential. Proficiency in using dental software such as Eagle soft is highly desirable. Ability to operate 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is beneficial. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care are required. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
