JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are an oral surgery office and have a surgical assistant position available. If you are looking for a relaxed office experience with a predicable schedule, you should consider submitting your resume. This position requires someone who has surgical assisting skills. Successful candidates will be professional, friendly, and motivated to complete excellent patient care.

RESPOSIBILITIES

Greeting patient and preparing them for their procedure. Prepare the room for the scheduled procedure by anticipating the necessary set ups and instrumentation/materials needed for each specific surgery. Take diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the doctor. Assist the doctor chair side during all appointments. This includes handing instruments, suctioning, and recording any required information into the patients EMR. Maintain patient records and update them as necessary. Escort the patient to the discharge area after the procedure. Clean the operatory and sterilize the instruments following established office procedures. Maintain equipment and inventory. Pay rate from $21.00 per hour, but will consider compensation based on previous experience. Work week Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00AM - 1:00PM. Averaging 15 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS

High School Graduate or equivalent Previous Dental or Surgical Office experience (1 year preferred) Surgical Tech experience (1 year preferred) BLS certification
