As our next Dental Assistant , you'll play a key role in making every visit a positive experience for our patients, while promoting lifelong habits for good oral hygiene. Why Join Us? Summary of Responsibilities Delivers excellent patient service while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality. Keeps all required OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control trainings up to date. Maintains a clean, sterile dental lab and treatment rooms according to infection-control standards. Assists dentists with all procedures and is flexible in working with any assigned provider. Supports other providers when not assigned or when patient schedules change. Takes diagnostic dental X-rays, including panoramic, bitewing, and periapical images. Monitors and logs supply needs to prevent shortages. Prepares, sterilizes, and sets up trays and equipment per OSHA guidelines. Provides postoperative instructions and educates patients on proper dental hygiene. Manages documentation for incoming and outgoing lab cases. Updates patient medical history, medications, surgeries, and allergies at every visit. Check out our

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
: High School Diploma or
GED. E EXPERIENCE / TRAINING
  • Dental experience preferred.
  • Quality communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to provide team support.
  • Multi-lingual skills (particularly Spanish/Arabic) preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to regularly remain on your feet for long hours. Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs. Good vision and have the ability to work up close and adjust focus when necessary. Must be able to wear PPE (gowns, gloves, mask, face shield, shoe covers) for extended periods of time if needed due to isolation/protective patient needs.
