In this role, you will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies. Assist dentists during various procedures by providing chairside support and handling dental instruments efficiently. Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate medical imaging equipment like 3D scanners while adhering to dental x-ray safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft patient management sofware, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, vital signs, and treatment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and answer questions about procedures using clear dental terminology. Perform dental instrument processing including cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing instruments to maintain clinical hygiene standards. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry procedures to assist confidently during treatments. Experience with dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, cerec scanning and milling as well as other clinical tools. Expertise in infection control practices aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control standards to ensure patient safety. Ability to perform dental sterilization procedures accurately while maintaining aseptic technique throughout clinical activities. Excellent patient management skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology understandable to patients of all ages. Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
