Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety, as well as proficiency in various dental procedures. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and Dental coding. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in specialties such as Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and more. Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix or Carestack for efficient practice management. Experience Must have 2 years minimum experience in dental assisting; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with various dental specialties including Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Endodontics is advantageous. Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices is a plus. Proficiency in using dental clinic software systems like Dentrix or Carestack will be beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
