What You'll Do Assist the doctor during a wide range of restorative, preventive, and comprehensive dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure efficient patient care Welcome patients into the operatory, helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Take quality dental radiographs and other diagnostic records while following all safety protocols Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting in Dentrix Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative instructions Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards Monitor clinical inventory and help keep operatories fully stocked and organized Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to maintain an efficient schedule and exceptional patient experience Support our Complete Health Dentistry philosophy by helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness
What We're Looking ForRequired:
Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience Current Ohio Dental Assistant qualifications and radiography certification (as required by state regulations) Experience with Dentrix or another dental practice management software Strong communication and patient education skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
