Job Description
Overview Join our amazing dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant ! In this role, you'll work closely with our dental providers to deliver exceptional patient care while helping keep our office running smoothly. What You'll Do Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of procedures, including root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain and accurately update patient dental EMR records. Ensure compliance with all dental office protocols, including weekly spore testing, quarterly waterline testing, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to support a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and provide clear postoperative care instructions to support recovery and long-term oral health. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and a seamless clinical experience. Basic Qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more. Familiarity with medical coding and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping. Current dental radiology certification (required). Availability to work weekends (required). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic setting. Proficiency in Dentrix or similar EMR systems. Experience with 3D scanning technology for enhanced diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities.
