Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Collect payments, process medical collections, and handle billing inquiries accurately using medical billing systems Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations Maintain organized , files, and electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with health information management standards Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing effective phone etiquette and communication skills Assist with insurance claims processing, verifying coverage details Support clinical staff by coordinating patient flow and managing appointment schedules efficiently Skills Proven experience in a dental office setting or strong motivation to learn Knowledge of Eaglesoft practice management software or willingness to learn Exceptional customer service abilities combined with professional phone communication and phone etiquette skills Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially following HIPAA guidelines Experience in medical administrative support or front desk duties within a dental or healthcare environment is preferred, but not imperative.
