Job Overview Looking for Full or Part-time dental assistant Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly enhance patient care and the overall clinic experience. In this vital role, you'll provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensure infection control standards are maintained, and support the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, managing dental materials, and operating chairside equipment efficiently. Take X-ray images, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures in accordance with HIPAA regulations and radiation safety standards. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Collect medical histories from patients to support comprehensive treatment planning. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow. Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support. Experience with digital imaging tools such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with Eaglesoft for efficient record keeping. Understanding of infection control practices aligned with OSHA standards to ensure a safe clinical environment. Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers. Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 - 40.0 per week
