Euclid Family Dental is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing family-oriented dental practice in Euclid, Ohio. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care . Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and general dental procedures Perform EFDA duties within the scope of Ohio regulations Place and finish restorations as permitted Take dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper infection-control protocols Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Assist with patient education and post-operative instructions Maintain accurate clinical documentation Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient Work efficiently with the dentist and entire dental team Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance Qualifications Current Ohio EFDA certification/license Dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office Friendly and compassionate attitude Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus!
