Job Overview Hours:
30-32 (Some evenings) Pay is based on experience Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, experienced, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing excellent patient care and assisting with various dental procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, infection control protocols, and effective communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients. Must be reliable. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records, including utilizing EagleSoft for dental notes and verifying patient information and treatment. Providing documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Help out with hygiene and front desk Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and answering phones. Provide support in specialized areas such as Prosthodontics and Endodontics when required. Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Taking impressions and keeping track of dental lab cases. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and familiarity with dental terminology. Experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Team player. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in CPR or first aid is preferred.
