Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Dental Assisting professional to join our faculty to teach in our Dental Assisting program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dental Assisting Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
Certificate of completion or diploma from an approved Dental Assistant program; associate degree preferred Expertise in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communication skills Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting No prior teaching experience is required, but postsecondary teaching experience preferred Strong organizational and planning skills Team player who demonstrates initiative, dependability, and reliabilityJob Type:
