Job Description
Our Worthington office is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our office. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a fast-paced environment and organized. This position is a floating position. You will assist dentists during procedures, maintain sterilization and organization, clean rooms, help to complete lab work and design in house crowns. Generally, you will go where needed. Please send resume today! Responsibilities Assist the dentists and float where needed Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for treatments and surgeries. Take and develop dental radiographs and CT scans while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain patient records and manage electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient comfort and streamline workflow. Mainatain organization of rooms and supplies Help to complete in house labwork Design in house crowns Qualifications Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology Knowledge of general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry Familiarity with 3D scanning and aseptic techniques Experience with EMR systems such as Open Dental Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical imaging Ability to perform four-handed dentistry and manage vital signs Experience with Cerec crowns, Sprintray 3D Printing, 3
