We need an EFDA who is clinically solid, kind in the chair, and on time. About the office Comfort Dental Xenia is a general and family practice at 17 N King Street, Xenia, OH 45385. This role is 32-40 hours over three to four days a week and includes opening and closing duties. The EFDA is responsible for Placing and finishing amalgam and composite restorations under the dentist's direct supervision Placing sealants and applying fluoride or varnish as assigned Taking digital radiographs (Ohio radiographer certificate required) Chairside assisting, isolation, and operatory turnover Charting and patient education in clear, respectful language Opening and closing the office: rooms ready in the morning, sterilization and lock-up at night Helping the day stay on time in a multitasking office What you need Active Ohio EFDA registration (required) Ohio radiology certification (required) Current BLS/CPR (required) 1+ year placing restorations preferred; strong newer EFDAs considered Comfort working with children and working adults Reliable attendance on a 3-4 day, 32-40 hour week Schedule and benefits 32-40 hours over three to four days Opening and closing duties PTO and paid holidays Employee discount 401(k) with match Apply with your resume, Ohio EFDA status, and a short note on how many restorations you typically place in a week.
