Pay Range:
Targeted hourly pay of $21.06, depending on education and experience.
Benefits Eligible:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Introduction:
The OU College of Dentistry seeks an experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join the Diagnostic & Preventive Sciences department working in the Oral Diagnosis & Radiology Division. The selected candidate will provide radiographic dental assistance to students, faculty and residents in the College with concentration on taking dental radiographs. The individual will ensure all patient information is input and any updates to patient records is correct and accurate in the charts and health systems. Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years experience performing chair side dental assistance.
Equivalency/Substitution:
Possession of a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential may be substituted for1 year of dental assisting experience
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Current Oklahoma Dental Assistant Permit or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Current CPR Certification Required to have 2 of the 4 Certifications from

Radiation Protection and Safety Coronal Polishing and Topical Fluoride Placement of Pit and Fissure Sealants Assisting in the Administration of Nitrous Oxide Hiring Contingent Upon a
