Atlanta Gentle Dental is looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier dental care to our patients in a warm and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will assist dentists during procedures, prepare and maintain dental instruments and materials, and ensure optimal patient comfort and safety. With a focus on preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, we strive to uphold the highest standards of service and care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including preparing and organizing instruments and materials required. Provide direct patient care, conduct preliminary oral health assessments, and record patient histories. Educate patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Ensure all dental tools are properly sanitized and sterilized according to health and safety regulations. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Prepare impressions and molds for restorative procedures such as crowns, bridges, and dentures. Required Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks Experience with dental practice management software
