Who We Are Seeking:

A happy, caring, and team-oriented pediatric dental assistant to join our pediatric dental office and growing team! Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1
• year dental assisting experience preferred
• X-ray certified required
• CPR certified required
• Willingness to assist in various areas of the practice as needed and a readiness to learn new procedures and innovative methods
• Prior knowledge of Open Dental is a plus, but not required, as the new team member will receive training before beginning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Assist in-office and hospital based sedation procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Assist with patient coordinator and administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
