Job Description

About the Job Annville Dental Group is hiring a Dental Assistant to support our hygiene department. You'll work alongside our hygienists during cleanings and periodontal procedures, prep and turn over treatment rooms, take X-rays, and help patients feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. We're a busy, well-established general dental office with a full team of doctors and hygienists serving the Annville/Lebanon, PA community — a modern 14-operatory practice with a steady patient flow, so there's plenty of room to build real hands-on experience. This dental assistant position is a great fit if you're organized, like being busy, and want hands-on experience in a supportive dental office. Dental Assistant Responsibilities Assist hygienists during cleanings, periodontal procedures, and exams Set up and break down dental treatment rooms between patients Take and process dental X-rays Sterilize and prepare dental instruments per infection control protocols Help patients feel welcome and informed about their treatment Keep the hygiene schedule flowing smoothly alongside our front desk and clinical team Assist with charting and documentation in our practice management software Dental Assistant Requirements No prior dental assistant experience required — we'll train you on the clinical side Must hold current PA Radiography Certification (or obtain before start date) Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced dental office setting Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in patient care Ability to stand and move for extended periods and work with dental instruments Benefits Competitive hourly pay, based on experience Opportunity to grow Full-time and part-time schedules available A collaborative team environment with experienced doctors and hygienists
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
