Job Description

Annville Dental Group is hiring an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Annville/Lebanon, PA. You'll work chairside with our doctors on restorative procedures — placing and finishing restorations, taking X-rays, and helping patients feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. We're a busy, well-established general dental office with a full team of doctors and hygienists — a modern 14-operatory practice with steady patient flow, so there's plenty of room to put your expanded functions to work every day. This EFDA position is a great fit if you're organized, like being busy, and want to work at the top of your license in a supportive Pennsylvania dental office. EFDA Responsibilities Place and finish direct restorations under doctor supervision Take final impressions and place temporary crowns for crown and bridge procedures Set up and break down treatment rooms between patients Take and process dental X-rays Sterilize and prepare instruments per infection control protocols Help patients feel welcome and informed about their treatment Keep the doctor's schedule flowing smoothly with the front desk and clinical team Chart and document in our practice management software EFDA Requirements Current Pennsylvania Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification — required Current PA Radiography Certification Experience placing amalgam and composite restorations preferred Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced dental office Strong communication skills and genuine interest in patient care Ability to stand and move for extended periods and work with dental instruments
Schedule:

Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
