Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Description

Smiles 4 Keeps Family Dentistry is currently hiring Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDA's) for our well-established, rapidly growing multi-specialty practice. Job Responsibilities:
Must be comfortable working in pediatrics and general departments as needed. Complete restorative work initiated by the dentist within the limits provided by the state certification. Review patient health history. Provide information to patients and parents Positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; retracting, passing instruments. Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth. Fill tooth preps with restorative material. Take Impressions. Pour plaster for impressions. Observe vitals. Keep patient comfortable and calm, hold patients' hand.
Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Current PA state EFDA license Current CPR certification Current Pennsylvania radiology certification Maintain CE requirements Background checks Previous medical industry experience and dental terminology knowledge

Office Hours:
5 days: M-F 8:15AM-4:30PM (currently no weekend hours). $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
