We are looking for an exceptional Certified Dental Assistant who is confident clinically, detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have strong chairside skills, a positive and professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. You will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient, comfortable, and high-quality patient care in a modern, technology-focused practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide chairside assistance utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms and maintain appropriate clinical setup and infection-control standards Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative, cosmetic, and comprehensive dental procedures Take full-arch impressions and/or digital intraoral scans using iTero Obtain 2D and 3D radiographic images in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania requirements Maintain accurate digital clinical records and charting Utilize Dentrix practice-management software for clinical documentation and charting Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment Provide clear and compassionate patient communication before, during, and after treatment Help create a comfortable and positive patient experience Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienist, front-office team, and other clinical staff Participate in continuing education and stay current with evolving dental technology, techniques, and standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Current Pennsylvania dental radiology certification/license Strong chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence Preferred Qualifications Pennsylvania EFDA certification At least 1 year of dental assisting experience Experience in a cosmetic, restorative, or comprehensive dental practice Experience with Dentrix Experience with iTero or other digital intraoral scanning systems Experience with digital radiography and 3D imaging What We Offer Competitive compensation starting at $21.00/hour , based on experience 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Bereavement leave Uniform allowance Continuing education opportunities and credits Modern, state-of-the-art clinical environment Supportive, professional, and patient-focused work culture Opportunity to continue developing advanced clinical skills
