Job Description

Cranberry Advanced Dental Care is a cutting-edge dental practice located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania , specializing in cosmetic, restorative, and preventive dentistry . Our team is committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated (EFDA) Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Requirements 0-2 + years of dental assisting experience required EFDA certification required X-ray certification required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for helping people and creating a positive patient experience Responsibilities Assist the dentist during patient procedures and treatments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and process dental X-rays Support patient care by ensuring comfort and clear communication Maintain accurate patient records and assist with basic administrative tasks Provide some front office assistance as needed Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available 5 days per week scheduling availability preferred

Work in compliance with all healthcare policies and standards (ex: OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, & funding body regulations) Sterilize all instruments and disinfect equipment according to clinic and manufacturer's guidelines Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection prevention & exposure control policies and procedures Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; requesting repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; learning new equipment and techniques Pour and trim study casts; clean and polish removable appliances; fabricate and polish temporary restorations; fabricate bite blocks, custom trays, bleaching trays, and occlusal guards

$30.00 - $44.00 per hour
