Job Description

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Dental/Oral Surgery Assistant for our busy Oral Surgery Practice with locations in Doylestown & Meadowbrook, PA. Must be a graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program. Dental Assistant experience is preferred and Oral Surgery experience is highly desirable. State-of-the-art office environments at all our locations.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist the Doctor with all aspects of oral surgery procedures. Must be able to travel to any of our (2) two surgical offices. Seat patients and obtain consents. Take vital signs on patients Review health history and enter data in our EMR. . Take Panorex and CBCT scans. Review discharge instructions with patient/family. Scrub and package instruments. Autoclave instruments in accordance with
CDC/OSHA
guidelines. Maintain all clinical area equipment. Stock/restock operatories with instruments prior to procedure. Set up operatories for all procedures. Turn over room in an efficient manner. Maintain inventory control by notifying person responsible for ordering when items are depleted from stock. Send pathology specimens to the appropriate lab. Work with all team members in a professional manner
Required Experiences and Skills:
High School Diploma Graduate of an Accredited Dental Assisting Program Pennsylvania Radiology and Safety Certification DAANCE certification a plus. CPR Certification. Good Written and Verbal Skills Good organizational ability and time management skills. Current Pennsylvania driver's license
