Doylestown Pediatric Dental LLC is looking for a passionate and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Doylestown, PA! Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories between patient appointments Take and develop dental X-rays (bitewings, periapicals, panoramic) following safety protocols Build rapport with young patients and parents to reduce dental anxiety and ensure a positive experience Document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately in dental software Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care Manage supply inventory and assist with front office coordination as needed

Requirements:

Prior dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric dental experience is a strong plus Dental assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred Radiography (X-ray) certification required or ability to obtain upon hire CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a clinical setting Excellent communication skills with both pediatric patients and their parents/guardians
