Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, knowledge of dental terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft for patient documentation, medical records, and medical coding. Conduct vital signs assessments and assist with medical documentation as needed. Operate 3D scanners and other dental imaging equipment as required. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices is essential. Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is highly desirable. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical terminology will be beneficial. $23.12 - $30.00 per hour
