Chester County Oral Surgery & Dental Implants seeks a Dental Assistant to support oral and maxillofacial surgeons in a patient-focused, team-oriented practice. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting chairside with oral surgery and implant procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking radiographs, updating charts, and providing clear pre- and post-operative instructions. Responsibilities Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms for oral surgery and implant procedures Assist surgeons chairside during extractions, implants, bone grafts, and related procedures Sterilize and maintain instruments and surgical equipment per infection control standards Take and process dental radiographs and CBCT images as directed Review and update patient charts, treatment notes, and medical histories Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions and patient education Monitor patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures Manage inventory and organize clinical supplies and surgical kits Support front office with scheduling and patient flow as needed Participate in training and adhere to clinical protocols and safety regulations Required Skills Chairside assisting for oral surgery and implant procedures Dental radiography (digital X-rays, CBCT familiarity) Infection control and instrument sterilization Electronic dental/medical records documentation Patient communication and education Knowledge of oral surgery instruments and tray setups Vital sign monitoring and basic patient care Clinical supply and inventory management Basic computer and practice management software Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, and safety protocols
