Job Description

Three Rivers Endodontics is looking for an experienced, motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team and help lead clinical operations at our Moon Township office . This is more than a traditional dental assisting role. We're looking for someone who takes pride in creating an organized, efficient clinical environment, enjoys supporting and developing teammates, and knows how to keep the day moving while delivering an exceptional experience for every patient. You'll work alongside our endodontists and dental assistants in a fast-paced specialty practice where teamwork, communication, clinical excellence, and having a little fun along the way are all part of the culture. While Moon Township will be your primary location, occasional travel to our other offices may be needed to support the team. What You'll Do As our Lead Dental Assistant , you'll be both a hands-on clinical assistant and a go-to resource for the dental assisting team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist our endodontists during procedures with efficiency, precision, and professionalism. Help coordinate the daily clinical flow to keep doctors, assistants, rooms, and patients moving efficiently. Serve as a resource and positive role model for other dental assistants. Help train, onboard, and support dental assistants in practice workflows and clinical standards. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure operatories are stocked, organized, and ready for the day. Capture and process high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) . Follow OSHA, sterilization, infection-control, and practice safety protocols. Provide compassionate patient support before, during, and after treatment. Clearly communicate post-treatment instructions and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Maintain accurate clinical documentation within our electronic dental software. Monitor clinical supplies and communicate inventory and purchasing needs. Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows, organization, and efficiency. Partner with doctors, office leadership, and other team members to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. Occasionally assist at other Three Rivers Endodontics locations when additional clinical support is needed. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, and confident taking initiative . You don't have to know everything on day one, but you should be excited to learn, willing to lead by example, and committed to helping the entire team succeed. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required Current dental X-ray certification required Prior lead, training, or supervisory experience is preferred Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dental software and technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain composed and adaptable in a busy clinical environment Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, clinical staff, and administrative teams Reliable transportation and willingness to occasionally travel between offices Ability to obtain all required employment clearances Your Schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM , depending on patient flow. And one of our favorite benefits: No evenings. No weekends. No holidays. Compensation & Benefits $26.00-$28.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
