Full Job Description Overview:

Join a Team That Makes Smiles Happen Merit Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Sinking Spring, PA. Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Thursday 7:30-4pm, Friday 7:30am-1pm

Responsibilities:

Assist dentists in delivering high-quality patient care. Perform expanded functions in accordance with Pennsylvania EFDA certification and state regulations. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures. Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care. Support infection control and sterilization protocols. Collaborate with the clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications:

Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date) Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation:

$28-$35/hour
