Job Overview Come join our privately owned office. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing exceptional chairside support, assisting with various dental procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology, knowledge of infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Dentrix is highly desirable. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as required. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout the practice. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Proficiency with Dentrix, is an advantage. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology. Familiarity with prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialized dental practices is beneficial. Ability to operate 3D scanners and other dental imaging equipment is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care and education. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
