Company Overview Chester County Dental Arts is a privately owned multi-specialty dental practice dedicated to serving the community. Since its founding in 2015, the practice has grown steadily, earning a reputation for exceptional patient care and community trust. We recently moved into a new, larger office and now have room to expand our clinical staff. We are looking to hire a new dental assistant to join our team. Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in dentistry, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment, and contributing to patient comfort and care. Responsibilities Assist the dental team during patient procedures, including chairside support and instrument passing Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental x-rays, including dental radiographs and 3D scans, ensuring adherence to safety standards Manage patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Assist with patient management tasks such as taking vital signs, updating medical history, and managing appointment scheduling as a dental receptionist Ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed for all dental instruments and equipment in compliance with dental sterilization procedures Support infection control practices by maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to healthcare infection prevention and control standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; X-ray license, coursework or certification in dental assisting preferred Basic knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is a plus Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras like 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Strong understanding of infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Ability to follow detailed clinical confidentiality policies and medical documentation standards Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided Join us at Chester County Dental Arts where your dedication will help create healthy smiles!
