Someone Who:

Has experience working in a fast-paced dental environment Is knowledgeable and confident working chairside with dental providers Can anticipate the needs of the dentist and keep procedures running efficiently Is dependable, professional, and a strong team player Takes pride in providing excellent patient care Is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn Has a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to the success of the entire team New Dental Assistants and recent graduates are encouraged to apply! We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and treatment setups Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Record and update patient medical histories Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards Manage dental supplies and maintain organized operatories Assist with maintaining a clean, efficient clinical environment Support front-office duties when needed

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification preferred EFDA certification preferred but not required Current radiology certification required, or ability to obtain Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Why Covenant Family Dentistry?
