Chester County Oral Surgery & Dental Implants Careers seeks a Dental Assistant to support our oral surgeons in delivering advanced implant and surgical care. Responsibilities include chairside assisting for extractions, implants, and wisdom teeth procedures; preparing and sterilizing instruments; taking digital X-rays; setting up and breaking down operatories; reviewing medical histories; and providing pre- and post-op instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, a strong team player, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment dedicated to clinical excellence and safety. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance for oral surgery and implant procedures Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and equipment Set up and break down operatories for surgical and consultation visits Take and process digital dental radiographs Review and update patient medical histories and treatment information Provide pre- and post-operative instructions and patient education Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols Support surgeons and clinical team with charting and documentation Monitor patient comfort and assist with anxiety management Assist with inventory, stocking, and general operatory maintenance Required Skills Chairside dental assisting Oral surgery assisting Dental radiography/digital X-rays Instrument sterilization and infection control Four-handed dentistry Electronic dental records (EDR) Medical history review and documentation Patient education and post-op instructions Basic life support (BLS/CPR) Clinical inventory and operatory setup
