Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, providing chairside support with precision and professionalism Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols and aseptic techniques Take high-quality dental x-rays and medical imaging using digital systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar patient management software while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, vital signs, and dental history accurately within electronic health record (EHR) system. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care instructions, and treatment plans to enhance patient care experience Maintain clinical confidentiality policies rigorously while adhering to infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and assisting the dental receptionist with front desk responsibilities when needed Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry preferred Hands-on knowledge of dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, and infection prevention management Proficiency in operating dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical confidentiality policies Experience with dental assisting tasks such as four-handed dentistry practices and chairside assisting across various specialties like prosthodontics or oral surgery Familiarity with patient management software including Eaglesoft or Dentrix along with EMR systems for accurate medical records documentation Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology while demonstrating excellent patient care skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding dental care!
