Must be available to work 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM About the Role SNF Dental Care is hiring an experienced, reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing Bakersfield team. You'll support our dentists at the Bakersfield Care Center and travel with our mobile care team to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and senior living residences — bringing dental care directly to patients who need it most. What You'll Do Assist the dentist chairside during exams, restorations, extractions, and prosthetic procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and the operatory between patients Take and process dental X-rays Travel with the mobile care team to skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living facilities Prepare portable equipment and supplies for offsite visits Support patients with compassion and patience, adapting to the needs of elderly and special needs individuals Maintain accurate patient charting and treatment documentation What We're Looking For Valid driver's license required (travel between the office and partner facilities) Available to work the 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift Current X-ray certification preferred — candidates without certification must enroll in an approved X-ray course and become certified within 60 days of employment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Comfortable working with elderly, bedridden, and special needs patients across varied care settings Prior dental assisting experience preferred
