Requirements:
X-ray and CPR certification is required Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred Additional certification or training is a plus Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus. Full-time role (30+ hours per week). A Typical Day as an
Orthodontic Assistant:
Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures. Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays. Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment. Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques. Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling. Keep accurate patient records and documentation. Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
Schedule:
