ORTHODONTIC ASSISTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
In this vital role, you will assist with orthodontic procedures, manage patient care, and ensure smooth clinical operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially those undergoing pediatric orthodontic treatment. Duties Prepare instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures Assist orthodontists during various treatments such as bracket placement, adjustments, and appliance installations Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans and intraoral images, following strict safety guidelines Manage patient records using Cloud 9 Educate patients on oral hygiene practices specific to orthodontic care and provide post-treatment instructions Monitor vital signs and medical history updates to ensure patient safety throughout appointments Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with a focus on orthodontics Strong knowledge of orthodontic clinical procedures including bite correction appliances Familiarity with dental software such as Cloud 9 for patient management and medical documentation Ability to operate advanced dental equipment including 3D scanners and intraoral cameras effectively Excellent communication skills to educate patients about treatment plans and oral health maintenance Join us in delivering exceptional orthodontic care by combining your technical skills with your passion for improving smiles! Hours:
