Strong 4-handed chairside technique & child behavior management Role Summary Our Alcoa practice is looking for an energetic Chairside Dental Assistant who loves working with kids! In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our pediatric dentists during restorative and preventive procedures, ensuring our young patients feel safe, comfortable, and excited about their visits. What You'll Do Provide smooth, attentive four-handed chairside assistance during exams, restorative care, and sedations. Keep young patients relaxed and confident using gentle, positive behavior-shaping techniques. Turn over clinical operatories quickly and maintain strict sterilization standards. Take accurate digital X-rays and assist the doctor with real-time patient charting. Deliver clear, supportive post-procedure instructions to parents.

What You Bring Experience:

1 to 4 years of hands-on chairside experience (pediatric background is ideal, but a warm, child-friendly personality is mandatory).

Credentials:

Current TN Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license and Radiology certification. (Nitrous Oxide Monitoring or Coronal Polishing endorsements are a major plus).
