Are you a skilled dental assistant who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care, supporting your doctor and team, and creating a positive experience for every patient? We'd love to meet you! Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for procedures Assist dentists chairside during various treatments including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental X-ray machines Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Dentrix while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Perform vital signs assessment and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures in accordance with infection prevention management standards Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration in the applicable jurisdiction Xray certified Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry. Proficiency with dental software including Dentrix or similar patient management software; familiarity with EMR systems is essential Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and aseptic technique to ensure infection control and safety standards are met Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools effectively Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention protocols aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise If you're an enthuasiastic Registered Dental Assistant who loves dentistry and enjoys being part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you!
