Who We're Looking For We're on the hunt for a friendly, detail-oriented Expanded Function Dental Assistant (Restorative) to join our crew. You're the kind of person who loves helping people feel at ease, knows your way around restorative procedures, and can keep things running smoothly without breaking a sweat. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative and general procedures using four-handed dentistry Place, contour, and finish high-quality restorations under dentist supervision Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring top-notch infection control and aseptic techniques Take and develop dental radiographs with accuracy and efficiency Record and update patient medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Use CEREC technology to scan, design, and assist in delivering same-day crowns Utilize digital 3D scanners for impressions and assist in fabrication of temporary crowns/appliances Help maintain efficient patient flow and support your team wherever needed Experience Candidates should possess: Current Expanded Function Dental Assistant (Restorative) certification in TN Prior dental assisting experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person! Comfort with dental software/EMR systems Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards Great communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude Experience with CEREC same-day crown technology is a huge plus!
