Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment. Prepare and manage dental instruments and materials, including 3D scanning and X-ray equipment. Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Qualifications Proven experience in dental assisting with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Proficiency in chairside assisting and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with 3D scanning technology and general dentistry practices. Knowledge of prosthodontics and endodontics. Experience with EMR systems, including Dentrix and Eaglesoft, is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
