Job Description
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Serenity Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and team-oriented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing practice! We are a busy, patient-focused dental office looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong clinical skills, and enjoys being part of a professional team. If you are an EFDA who is confident in your skills and looking for a practice where you can contribute and grow, we would love to hear from you. What You'll Do Assist the dentist during restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, and other dental procedures Perform expanded functions within your scope of practice Take and process dental X-rays as needed Prepare operatories and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Assist with restorative procedures, including crown and bridge procedures Take impressions, scans, and other diagnostic records as needed Place and remove temporary restorations as permitted Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visits Review post-operative instructions with patients Maintain accurate clinical records and follow office protocols Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA/infection-control standards Communicate effectively with the dentist and the rest of the dental team Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently Be willing to jump in and assist wherever needed
