Dental assisting, public health dental clinic, or patient care experience preferred About the Role We are seeking a Dental Assistant for an on-site contract opportunity in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This role supports dental clinic operations by assisting dentists during patient care, preparing instruments and supplies, maintaining infection control standards, completing dental records, supporting clinic flow, and providing patient-centered dental assistant services. Responsibilities Prepare dental supplies, instruments, and patient records before dental exams and procedures Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques during patient treatment Expose and prepare dental X-rays while following infection control and safety guidelines Clean and disinfect operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment and supplies Support dental records, patient education, clinic flow, supply orders, and daily productivity goals Requirements Current Tennessee Dental Assistant Registration Required Dental Radiology Certification Required Valid Driver s License Required CPR Certification Required Tennessee residency required; coronal polishing, nitrous oxide monitoring, and dental sealant certifications preferred This Dental Assistant opportunity is a strong fit for candidates with dental assisting, radiology, infection control, patient care, and public health dental clinic experience.
