Job Description

Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
  • Perform dental receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries
  • Use dental software systems (e.
g., Eaglesoft) to update patient information and schedule appointments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • X-Ray certification
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Eaglesoft)
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with medical imaging, CAD, and medical records systems is a plus
  • Coronal polishing certification required; candidates currently obtaining certification will also be considered.
